The proportions of Th2 and regulatory T cells and the protein levels of P-ERK1/2, GATA-3, and FOXP3 were increased in the AA + LPNS mice compared with the AA mice.
We chose to study the role of CD4+ CD25high CD127low FoxP3+ T regulatory cells (T-regs) in the pathophysiology of AA and their response to treatment with Danazol alone or in combination with immunosuppressive treatment (IST).
Additionally, the role played by transfused MSCs in regulating the Treg/Th17 balance via the Notch/RBP-J/FOXP3/RORγt pathway was further confirmed in an AA mouse model.
