This study applied cfs-mRNA of ESX1, ZMYND15 and its target haploid genes (TNP1 and PRM1) to identify the presence of spermatozoa in men with azoospermia.
Haplotype association analysis showed a significant omnibus association (omnibus χ(2) = 7.87, p = 0.0195) for the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the TNP1 gene with azoospermia.
