Altogether, our data suggested that CMTM8 is an important tumor suppressor gene in human bladder cancer and qualified as a useful prognostic indicator for patients with bladder cancer.
In conclusion, overexpression of CMTM8 in bladder cancer results in reduced malignant cell growth, migration and invasion, which could make it a potential therapeutic target in the treatment of bladder cancer.
