In conclusion, in the patients with coronary heart disease the apoptosis rate of PBMCs was increased and the expression of miR-155 in plasma and PBMCs cells was decreased, which were correlated with the severity of coronary heart disease.
Consistent with the data obtained by the profile, circulating levels of miR-126, miR-17, miR-92a, and the inflammation-associated miR-155 were significantly reduced in patients with coronary artery disease compared with healthy controls.
