Six-week-old male ICR mice were divided into the following groups: Control, Control+DF (received 50 mg/kg DF), streptozotocin (STZ)-induced DM group, DM+Acarbose group (20 mg/kg of acarbose), DM+DF-L (25 mg/kg of DF), DM+DF-H (50 mg/kg of DF), and DM+APPH (50 mg/kg of APPH).
A total of 30 female ICR mice were divided into three groups: those with STZ-induced (STZ group) and AL-induced (AL group) diabetes, and a control group.
The antidiabetic efficacy of orally administered probiotic-fermented red ginseng was assessed in ICR mice after induction of diabetes using streptozotocin (170 mg/kg body weight).
