Orally-administered prostanoid DP receptor antagonists S-5751 and pinagladin significantly suppressed not only bronchial hyperresponsiveness and lung eosinophilia but also neutrophilia and mucus secretion in the lung, while oral prednisolone inhibited only bronchial hyperresponsiveness and eosinophil infiltration.
