Compared with the N group, the target quadrant time and platform crossing times were reduced and the expression of miR-145 and Caspase-9 was increased in the epilepsy groups (P < 0.05).
The aim of this study was to analyze the expression profiles of the microRNAs (miRNAs) miR-145, miR-181c, miR-199a and miR-1183 in the hippocampus and blood of patients with mesial temporal lobe epilepsy with hippocampal sclerosis (MTLE-HS) and to investigate whether these can be used as diagnosis and prognosis biomarkers for epilepsy.
