We utilized a murine esophageal cancer cell line established from the ED-L2-cyclin D1;p53 mouse that was transduced to express a viral tumor antigen, the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) E7 protein.
Therefore, PP-RP may prove to be an ideal tumor antigen useful for diagnosis and immunotherapy for patients with esophageal cancer. cDNA microarray analysis is a useful method to identify ideal tumor-associated antigens.
Here, we report a new gene from cDNA of esophageal cancer cells that encodes a shared tumor antigen recognized by HLA-A2402-restricted and tumor-specific CTLs.
