Rescue assay further demonstrated that LINC01494/miR-122-5p/CCNG1 signaling cascade plays a critical role in regulating glioma cell proliferation, migration and invasion.
Meanwhile, the promoter activity was significantly increased via c-Myc, a key factor of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, thus forming a positive HOXC13-AS-miR-122-5p-SATB1-c-Myc feedback loop to drive the malignant behavior in glioma.
Overall, the present study demonstrated that lncRNA UCA1 acts as an endogenous sponge of miR-122 to promote glioma cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, which provides a novel insight and therapeutic target in the tumorigenesis of glioma.
