Hypoglycaemia associated with the production of insulin-like growth factor II and insulin-like growth factor binding protein 6 by a haemangiopericytoma.
Hybridization of a 32P-labeled IGF-II cDNA to a Northern blot of RNA from three nonislet cell tumors associated with hypoglycemia (a hemangiopericytoma, fibrosarcoma, and malignant mesenchymal tumor) demonstrated six hybridizing bands, 6.8, 5.6, 4.7, 3.6, 2.6, and 2.1 kilobases in length.
