It was found that MiR-21 was found to be normally upregulated in all types of ML, however, we summarize the important research findings surrounding the role of miR-21 in different types of ML.
Therefore, miRNA-21 by targeting PDCD4 may play a functional role in modulating ATO-induced cell death, and strategy using AMO-miR-21 and its combination with ATO may be useful as a myelogenous leukemia therapy.
