We found that miR-27b-3p was low expressed in lung tumors compared to adjacent non-tumorous lung tissues. miR-27b-3p directly targeted Fzd7 promoter and negatively regulated Fzd7 expression.
The levels of miRNAs in normal lung tissue and lung tumors were compared; miR-27b and miR-134 levels were significantly lower in the tumors than normal tissue (3.64 ± 4.02 versus 9.75 ± 6.58 and 0.64 ± 0.75 versus 1.48 ± 1.39).
