However, further studies and additional information are required to confirm this relationship and the precise role of miR-146a in the development and/or progression of periodontitis.
We, therefore, conclude that miRNA-146a may improve periodontitis by downregulating IL-17 and IL-35 expression and inhibiting proliferation of human PDLSCs.
