Recombinant CC16 inhibits NLRP3/caspase-1-induced pyroptosis through p38 MAPK and ERK signaling pathways in the brain of a neonatal rat model with sepsis.
Our results suggest that MALAT1 aggravates cardiac inflammation and dysfunction in sepsis, which is achieved via interaction with miR-125b and p38 MAPK/NFκB.
These protective effects were mediated through MPLA stimulation of a Toll/IL-1 receptor domain-containing adaptor-inducing IFN-β-(TRIF)-dependent phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-Akt pathway that prevents sepsis- and LPS-induced ERK activation.
