The aim of this study was to identify polymorphisms of genes encoding metabolic enzymes NAT2 and GSTM1 in tuberculosis patients in Latvia and to estimate the frequency of NAT2 slow acetylator and GSTM1 null genotypes.
We investigated GSTM1 and GSTT1 null genotypes in Brazilian patients with tuberculosis (TB), adjusting for other possible predictors of ATD-induced liver injury.
This study was designed to investigate the association of genetic polymorphisms of cytochrome P450 subtype 2E1 (CYP2E1) and glutathione S-transferase mu 1 (GSTM1) with susceptibility to antituberculosis drug-induced hepatotoxicity (ADIH) in Chinese tuberculosis patients.
