Specific subtypes addressed include: T cell/histiocyte-rich large B cell lymphoma, primary diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) of the CNS, primary cutaneous DLBCL leg-type, EBV-positive DLBCL, NOS, DLBCL associated with chronic inflammation, primary mediastinal large B cell lymphoma, intravascular large B cell lymphoma, ALK-positive large B cell lymphoma, plasmablastic lymphoma, primary effusion lymphoma, HHV8-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, NOS, Burkitt lymphoma, Burkitt-like lymphoma with 11q aberration, high-grade B cell lymphoma with MYC and BCL2 and/or BCL6 rearrangements, high grade B cell lymphoma, NOS, B cell lymphoma, unclassifiable, with features intermediate between DLBCL and classic Hodgkin lymphoma and large B cell lymphoma with IRF4 translocation.
Here, we performed three methods including immunohistochemistry (IHC) (clone SP263 and SP142), RNAscope, and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) to evaluate PD-L1 status on a cohort of DLBCL including 94 of DLBCL-NOS, 25 of primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma (PMBCL) and 7 of double-hit lymphoma (DHL).
Using data from the National Cancer Data Base, 2010-2015, we examined characteristics and outcomes of T-cell/histiocyte-rich large B-cell lymphoma (THRLBCL, <i>N</i> = 622) relative to unspecified diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL-NOS, <i>N</i> = 91,588) and nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL, <i>N</i> = 2240).
Moreover, a literature review of composite DLBCL and PTCL-NOS indicates that this rare clinical entity may be featured by efficacy of systemic chemotherapy in spite of prevalent extranodal lesions.
Significant interactions with vegetable and fruit intake were mainly found for genetic polymorphisms on nitric oxide synthase (NOS) genes among those with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and follicular lymphoma.
Inflammatory chemokines and their receptors likely play a central role in these complex interrelated pathways: CCL2 and CXCR4 in PTCL-NOS and CCL5 and CCR1 in DLBCL.
