The bivariate analysis shows an independent association between erectile dysfunction and the variables: age, Charlon index, dyslipidaemia, benign prostatic hypertrophy, diastolic blood pressure, years of diagnosis of hypertension, number of treatments, Regicor and Framingham-Wilson, glycaemia, creatinine and GPT, glomerular filtration through the MDRD formula, irritative symptomatology (IPSS) and somatic manifestations (MINICHAL).
