In this study, we aimed to investigate the frequency of TLR 3rs3775290" genes_norm="7098">1377C/T (rs3775290) polymorphism and its role in patients with CHB.
The results indicated that genetic variant in TLR3 gene rs3775290 polymorphisms may be a protective factor for CHB, HBV-related LC, and HCC in the Chinese population.
We aimed to investigate the expression of TLR3 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and liver cells of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients and its response to pegylated interferon or nucleoside analogue therapy.
These results indicate that TLR3C1234T polymorphism could be a risk factor for the development of chronic HBV infection, especially the CHB-related ACLF.
Our results showed that expression of TLR3/5/7/9/10 and TLR2/4/6 mRNA was upregulated in active stage of CHB and CHB-related liver failure, respectively.
