Next-generation sequencing detected mutations at p.Q61H (c.183A>C) of KRAS and p.E545K (c.1633G>A) of PIK3CA, keeping in line with similarity to conventional cholangiocarcinoma.
Considering only pathogenic or presumed pathogenic mutations, as determined by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics guidelines, and using Bonferroni and Benjamini-Hochberg corrections for multiple comparisons, we found that CRC tumors from AA patients harbored significantly more mutations of phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase, catalytic subunit alpha (PIK3CA) than those from CC patients.
