Integrating hyperthermia and chemotherapy using albumin co-embedded magnetic nanoheaters and etoposide may represent a promising therapeutic option for glioblastoma.
However, c-ZnO NPs with albumin and apo-transferrin both perturbed the cell cycle function, and decreased the necrotic cell death rate of U373 cells below toxic concentration, suggesting their potential curative effect on glioblastoma cells.
CL was the best light source for improving the photodynamic action of AlClPc-loaded albumin nanoparticles in glioblastoma cells and avoiding undesirable side effects, especially at low photosensitizer doses (200mJ/cm2).
