The results of the present study demonstrated that ESTIMATE algorithm-based stromal and immune scores may be a credible indicator of cancer prognosis and IL10 along with XCR1 may be a potential key regulator for the TME of ccRCC.
We analyzed the allelic and haplotype frequency formed by alleles at -1082(G/A), -819(C/T), and -592(C/A) of the IL-10 gene in RCC (n = 126) and healthy individuals (n = 176).
Treatment of RCC cell lines with either interferon-gamma or interleukin-10, respectively, increased HLA-G-specific mRNA and protein in six of eight HLA-G(+) RCC lines (75%), but not in HLA-G(-) RCC cells.
The expression of pro-inflammatory (IFN-gamma/IL-2) and immunosuppressive (IL-10/TGF-beta) cytokine mRNA transcripts was determined in RCC, normal kidney and peripheral blood of RCC patients using a semi-quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) with cytokine-specific primers.
This study investigated the transcription of genes encoding interleukin (IL) 2, IL-4, IL-10 and interferon (IFN) gamma in lymphocyte-infiltrated renal cell carcinoma biopsies from ten patients using the reverse polymerase chain reaction technique.
