We aimed to evaluate the long-term effect of G-CSF on overall survival, event-free survival, probability of secondary myelodysplastic syndrome or acute myeloid leukemia, clinical paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, relapse, avascular osteonecrosis and chronic kidney disease.
We report a case of secondary myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) with monosomy 7, which evolved from severe aplastic anemia (SAA) after long-term use of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF).
