We have used the techniques of heteroduplex analysis (HDA), protein truncation test (PTT), single strand conformation polymorphism (SSCP) and DNA sequencing for the identification and detailed positional analysis of mutations in IFAP family with the expressive phenotype characterized by polyposis and extracolonic lesions.
