Skin fibroblasts from patients with inherited adenomatosis of the large bowel (ACR-SF) possess alterations in actin microfilament (MF) organization which serve to distinguish "predisposed" cells from fibroblasts derived from normal individuals (NSF).
The study confirmed our earlier finding of an altered distribution of actin-containing cables in skin fibroblasts of patients with hereditary adenomatosis of the colon and rectum (ACR) (Kopelovich et al., 1977).
