The amounts of miR-145 in plasma and aortic specimens were markedly reduced in the AD group in comparison with control values (P < .05). miR-145 was mostly located in VSMCs.
In this study, we found significantly increased expression of phospho-Smad2/3 and phospho-ERK in AD tissues and downregulated expression of miR143 and miR145 in AD tissues.
