To compare the nature of these transcripts in different tissues, three cDNA clones encoding BMP-3 have been isolated by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and cDNA library screening from human prostate cancer PC-3 cells, rat prostate adenocarcinoma PA III cells, and primary FRC cells.
