The present study aimed to determine the therapeutic effects of CCK-8 on rat liver and kidney microcirculatory perfusion disorder under endotoxic shock (ES) conditions.
CCK was overexpressed in Ewing tumors as compared with other pediatric malignancies such as rhabdomyosarcoma and neuroblastoma, with levels close to those detected in normal tissues expressing the highest levels of CCK.
However, we have used a radioimmunoassay that detects the CCK precursor to demonstrate synthesis of CCK precursor-like peptides by all of the Ewing sarcoma and neuroepithelioma lines that were tested and by the rhabdomyosarcoma cell line that expresses CCK mRNA.
