In summary, these results suggested that Axl, which is regulated by long non-coding RNA metastasis-associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1, may exert great influence on invasion and migration of neuroblastoma.
Taken together, our data suggest that up-regulation of MALAT1 expression in human neuroblastoma cells under hypoxic conditions increases FGF2 expression and promotes vasculature formation, and therefore plays an important role in tumor-driven angiogenesis.
The aim of this study is to clarify how MALAT1 gene expression is altered by extracellular signals in the SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cell line and to define its proximal promoter in order to study the mechanism of MALAT1 gene expression.
DNA microarray analysis in Malat1-depleted neuroblastoma cells indicates that Malat1 controls the expression of genes involved not only in nuclear processes, but also in synapse function.
