Ovarian cancer tissues showed lower miR-203a-3p levels and higher ATM levels than adjacent normal tissues, both of which were associated with the FIGO stage, grade and prognosis of ovarian cancer.
Additionally, integration of miR-203 levels with the established disease prognostic markers led to a superior stratification of OC patients that can ameliorate prognosis and benefit patient clinical management.
Together, our data suggested the oncogenic roles of miR-203 in ovarian cancer by promoting glycolysis, and miR-203 might be a therapeutic target for ovarian cancer.
