Our study shows that LINC00504 promotes OC cell progression and stimulates aerobic glycolysis by interacting with miR-1244, which indicates that LINC00504 might act as a promising therapeutic target for OC treatment.
Our study reveals the role of DHRS2 in cell apoptosis induced by HDAC inhibitors and explores the clinical attributes of DHRS2 in OC from a new perspective, suggesting that OC patients with high DHRS2 expression may benefit from treatment with HDAC inhibitors.
A flexible two-step photoelectrochemical (PEC)-colorimetric immunoassay was proposed for ultrasensitive detection of lipolysis stimulated lipoprotein receptor (LSR) which is found to be closely related to ovarian cancer (OC).
Expression of MYB was significantly correlated with good clinical outcome in OvCa and was negatively correlated with Slug expression in late-stage clinical specimens.
Correlation analysis showed that plasma levels of MIR4435-2HG and TGF-β1 were positively correlated only in OC patients. qPCR and western blot analysis results showed that MIR4435-2HG overexpression led to upregulation of TGF-β1 in OC cells, while TGF-β1 treatment did not significantly affect MIR4435-2HG expression.
Furthermore, Dox-SS-[C(WR)4K] showed significantly higher cytotoxic activity in HEK-293, HT-1080, and SKOV-3 cells when compared with Dox after 72 h incubation.
Abnormal level of TPM4 is found in several cancers, and TPM4 is considered as a potential detecting marker for ovarian cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, keratoacanthoma and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
The results showed that VPS13C-has-circ-001567 was expressed at significantly higher levels in OC tumor tissues compared with pericarcinous tissues, and this overexpression was associated with tumor node metastasis stage and lymph node metastasis.
The OC mitochondria presented an increased maximum length, as well as reduced cristae width and junction diameter, associated with increased optic atrophy 1 protein (OPA1) and prohibitin 2 (PHB2) protein levels.
An mRNA-based co-expression module was significantly correlated with patient age at initial pathologic diagnosis, lymphatic invasion, tumor residual disease, and vascular invasion; and identified 21 hub-mRNA molecules and 11 mRNAs (FBN3, TCF7L1, SBK1, TRO, TUBB2B, PLCG1, KIAA1549, PHC1, DNMT3A, LAMA1, and C10orf82) that were closely linked with OC patients' overall survival.
Circular RNA itchy E3 ubiquitin protein ligase (circ-ITCH), a novel circular RNA originated from several exons of ITCH and located on chromosome 20q11.22, was proved to be declined in many malignant tumors, such as melanoma and ovarian cancer, resulting in tumor occurrence and progression.
Furthermore, <i>in vivo</i> xenograft experiments demonstrated that cytosolic nonspecific dipeptidase 2 can promote the development and progression of ovarian cancer, increasing the expression of phosphorylated PI3K and AKT.
