Consequently, CD277, and likely other butyrophilins and butyrophilin-like molecules, emerge as regular players in the orchestration of immunosuppressive networks in ovarian cancer, and therefore new targets for interventions to overcome immune evasion and boost anti-tumor immunity in cancer patients.
