T cells in lymphoma-bearing mice were characterized by the expression of the immune inhibitory molecules programmed death (PD)-1, 2B4 and lymphocyte activation protein (LAG)-3.
LAG3 did not have a significant association with DFS [HR 1.02, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.77-1.37; P = 0.87], with subgroup analysis showing worse DFS in patients with lymphoma and improved DFS in those with breast cancer.
