According to the analysis of the three strong positive SNPs, the haplotype of AGT increased significantly in AR cases (AR = 38.8%, Controls = 24.3%, P = 8.29 × 10(-14), OR [95% CI] 1.978 [1.652~2.368]).
Our results indicate that polymorphisms in the genes for ACE and angiotensinogen may not be related to the development of allergic rhinitis in the Korean population.
