The results showed that the treatment with AOS (5, 10, or 20 mg/kg) dose-dependently decreased the expression of P-selectin in serum, pulmonary tissue and pulmonary artery of MCT-induced pulmonary arterial hypertension rats.
The current study revealed for the first time that microRNAs may be important regulators in pulmonary arterial hypertension secondary to congenital heart disease, and demonstrated the correlation between microRNA-27b and pulmonary arterial hypertension with the implication of NOTCH1.
