Women with advanced lung cancer derived statistically significantly larger benefit from the addition of chemotherapy to anti-PD1/PD-L1 as compared with men.
Genotyping ± PD-L1 testing was carried out in the 53 patients with advanced lung cancer and was classified as complete if all clinically indicated tests could be performed, incomplete if at least one test could not be carried out, and unsuccessful if the sample was unsuitable for molecular analysis.
This meta-analysis was conducted to explore the therapeutic efficacy and safety of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies combined with chemotherapy or CTLA4 antibody as first-line treatments for patients with advanced lung cancer.
