We validated in cell lines the miR-199/miR-214 as a novel cluster of miRNAs promoting the triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) phenotype through its control of proliferation and EMT.
The results demonstrated that the expression levels of miR‑214 were higher and the levels of α1‑antitrypsin (α1‑AT) were lower in TNBC tissues compared with in normal tissues.
