Multiple logistic regression analysis revealed that the A allele and AA genotype of the SDF1-rs1111875</span> polymorphism produce a significant risk of MI both before (crude odds ratio [OR] = 8.83, 95% confidence interval [95% CI] = 1.05-73.76, p = 0.025) and after adjustment (adjusted OR = 8.12, 95% CI = 5.02-19.42, p = 0.04).
