Genome-wide scan revealed that polymorphisms in the PNPLA3, SAMM50, and PARVB genes are associated with development and progression of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in Japan.
Our study found polymorphisms of rs5764455 and rs6006473 in PARVB gene in the Han Chinese population, and these polymorphisms were associated with the occurrence and progression of NAFLD.
