In conclusion, the results illustrated that in CD44+ Fbs, binding of IGF2BP3 and CD44 promotes IGF2 expression and then accelerates breast cancer cell proliferation, survival and induced chemotherapy resistance likely by activating Hedgehog signal pathways.
The expression level of TRIM25, IGF2BP3, pri-miR-3614 and miR-3614-3p in breast cancer (BC) tissues, non-tumor tissues and BC cell lines were detected by qRT-PCR, Western blot and Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Taken together, these evidences suggested that CERS6-AS1 promoted the progression of BC by binding to IGF2BP3 and thus enhancing the stability of CERS6 mRNA, providing a new underlying therapeutic target for BC to improve prognosis.
