Finally, we identify late endosomes/lysosomes as the major donor compartments of LAMP-1 upon LLO treatment and by perturbing their function, we suggest that these organelles participate in L. monocytogenes invasion.
These data suggest that ACSS2 is an important factor for promoting RCC development and is essential for cell migration and invasion, which it promotes by increasing the expression of LAMP1.
Proteins progressively upregulated in a model of neoplastic transformation and invasion included CD26, CD63 (LAMP3), CD105 (Endoglin), CD107a (LAMP1), CD108 (Semaphorin 7A), CD109 (Integrin β4), CD151 (Raph blood group), and disialoganglioside G2.
Nocodazole increased adhesion but reduced invasion and intracellular growth of Brucella in macrophages although it did not affect co-localization of Brucella with LAMP-1.
Here we show that an agr mutant of S. aureus strain RN6390 was unable to escape from the endocytic vesicle after invasion of the CFT-1 cells using markers of vesicular trafficking (LAMP-1 and 2, LysoTracker and Vacuolar-ATPase).
