IL28B (rs8099917 and rs12979860) and IL10 (rs1800896) polymorphisms alone, or in combination, are good predictors of therapeutic response in HCV-3a patients.
The aim of the present study was to investigate the association between polymorphisms in TNF-α -308 G>A (rs1800629), IL-10 -1082 G>A (rs1800896) and -819/-592 (rs1800871/rs1800872) with HCC risk in individuals with HCV.
Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the IL-10 gene (-1082 [rs1800896], -819 [rs3021097], and -592 [rs1800872]) and the IL-28B gene (rs12979860) in adults were shown to be associated with hepatitis C virus (HCV) clearance.
