We only found significant interaction between rs2275913 polymorphism and HPV-16 or 18 infection in the risk of cer</span>vical cancer (P for interaction <0.05).
The logistic regression analysis showed that the variant AA genotype of rs22</span>75913 was associated with a significantly higher risk of cervical cancer than the wild-type GG genotype (OR = 1.99, 95%CI = 1.12-3.50).
We suggest that rs2275913 may play a role in the etiology of cervical cancer, although further large-sample studies are needed to confirm these observations.
By stratified analysis, individuals with AA genotype of rs2275913 were significantly associated with increased risk ofcervical cancer in HPV-16- or HPV-18-infected patients when compared with GG genotype, and the OR (95 % CI) was 4.11 (1.14-22.33).
