The data suggest that miR-365a-3p may act as an oncomiR and may promote growth and metastasis in LSCC via the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, and thus miR‑365a-3p may be a potential therapeutic target for treatment of LSCC.
Taken together, these data suggest that miR-340 impedes LSCC progression by targeting EZH2 with the possible mechanism to enhance the expression of anti-oncogene p27 and suppress PI3K/Akt activation, providing a novel target and a potential therapeutic pathway against LSCC.
