Based on the calculation of disease correlation scores developed here, several genes present in the largest connected subnetwork, such as albumin, ATPase H+ /K+ exchanging alpha polypeptide and carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 1, were considered as novel genes that play important roles in the development of pancreatic cancer.
Development and Mechanistic Insight into the Enhanced Cytotoxic Potential of Parvifloron D Albumin Nanoparticles in EGFR-Overexpressing Pancreatic Cancer Cells.
Significant associations were found between clinical pancreatic fistulas and soft pancreas texture (P = 0.021), preoperative serum albumin level ≤3.5 g/dL (P = 0.012), other pathology besides pancreatic cancer (P = 0.027) and a single-operator procedure (P = 0.019).
Nab-paclitaxel, a nanoparticle conjugate of paclitaxel to human albumin, exhibits efficacy in pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and breast cancer.
In the PC group, PON1-A and PON1-L activities correlated with Nutritional Risk Index (r = 0.351, 0.409, respectively, both P < 0.01), PON1-L with mid-arm muscle circumference (r = 0.328, P < 0.05), and PON1-A and PON1-L with serum albumin (r = 0.352, 0.391 respectively, both < 0.01).
