Compared to the other analyzed groups, IL-15 concentration was significantly higher in the ectopic endometrium and IL-7 in the eutopic endometrium of the endometriosis group (p < 0.05).
Deep infiltrating rectosigmoid endometriosis displays alterations in Treg and NK cells related cytokine, and TGFB, IL7 and IL15 expression is related with dyspareunia, dysmenorrhea and cyclic dyschezia, respectively, in patients with the disease.
