Taken together, these results indicate that CBSA/siS100A4@Exosome self-assembled nanoparticles are a promising strategy to suppress postoperative breast cancer metastasis.
In univariate analysis, albumin-bilirubin grade (22.3 ± 3.8 vs. 11.6 ± 4.2; P = 0.03), neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (21.8 ± 3.6 vs. 7.3 ± 2.6; P =0.04), presence of extrahepatic metastases (30.1 ± 5.4 vs. 7.4 ± 2.0; P = 0.001) and portal venous thrombosis (26.5± 4.8 vs. 10.5 ± 2.1; P = 0.01) had significant effect on OS.
Additionally, low SMI in men was significantly associated with deeper tumour invasion and greater distant metastasis and high VSR in women was significantly associated with advanced age, right-sided tumour, lower total lymphocyte count and lower albumin levels.
