The objective of this study was to analyze the interaction of a high fat diet with the APOA2 (rs3813627 and rs5082), APOA5 (rs662799 and rs3135506) and LEPR (rs8179183 and rs1137101) polymorphisms and its relationship with obesity and dyslipidemia in young subjects.
LEPR polymorphisms may be a marker for susceptibility to essential hypertension in Chinese subjects, and be involved in the development of several features including dyslipidemia and impaired glucose regulation in hypertension subjects.
To determine whether the LEPRQ223R, the LEP -2548G/A, and the HTR2C -759C/T polymorphisms are associated with dyslipidemia in patients using atypical antipsychotic drugs.
