We found that heterozygous carriers of the minor alleles of SNPs rs2622621 and rs1481012 had a decreased risk of CRC, respectively, with odds ratios of 0.73 (95% confidence interval 0.56-0.94; P(value)=0.017), and 0.72 (95% CI 0.53-0.97; P(value)=0.03).
In a three-way analysis, both ABCB1/rs1045642 and ABCG2/rs2231137 in combination with IL10/rs3024505 interacted with fiber intake in relation to risk of CRC (P(int) = 0.0007 and 0.009).
