In conclusion, TPX2 may suppress the growth of HCC by regulating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and thus, TPX2 may be a potential target for the treatment of liver cancer.
This study aims to explore the biological function of maternally expressed gene 3 (MEG3) in liver cancer and the potential mechanism of phosphatidylinositide 3-kinases/protein kinase B (PI3K/AKT) pathway in regulating proliferation and invasion of hepatoma cells.
On the whole, the findings of this study indicate that circCDK13 is a novel circular RNA that suppresses liver cancer progression, and that these suppressive effects are possibly mediated via the JAK/STAT and PI3K/AKT signaling pathways.
Flavonoids from Enicostema littorale blume enhances glucose uptake of cells in insulin resistant human liver cancer (HepG2) cell line via IRS-1/PI3K/Akt pathway.
Our previous study shows that Calpain 6 (CAPN6) expression is regulated by PI3K-Akt in liver cancer through POU2F1 and CAPN6 which promote cell proliferation and inhibit apoptosis of liver cancer cells. microRNAs (miRNAs) plays important roles in regulation of gene expression.
Cluster of differentiation 166 (CD166) regulated by phosphatidylinositide 3-Kinase (PI3K)/AKT signaling to exert its anti-apoptotic role via yes-associated protein (YAP) in liver cancer.
In studying the possible mechanism by which overexpression of RARgamma contributed to liver cancer cell growth and transformation, we observed that RARgamma resided mainly in the cytoplasm of HCC cells, interacting with the p85alpha regulatory subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K).
