There were statistical interactions of aggregated CRFs with age and APOE ε4 allele on mobility limitation (p interaction<0.05), such that the association of mobility limitation with aggregated CRFs was statistically evident only among people aged <80 years and among carriers of the APOE ε4 allele.
Greater impairment of pulmonary function was associated with less distance walked during the 6MWT, poorer SPPB scores, and greater risk of self-reported mobility limitations (p<0.05).
We examined the association between protein intake and the onset of mobility limitation over 6 years of follow-up in older adults in the Health ABC study.
